  • The Chancel Choir is comprised of adults and youth 11 and older. Music selections include a blend of traditional and contemporary pieces. Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings from 7 - 9 pm. The Chancel Choir participates in worship on the first and third Sundays, September through June. 

  • Handbell Choir welcomes adults and youth 11 and older. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings from 7:15- 8:30 pm. The Handbell Choir participates in worship on the third or fifth Sunday, September through June. 

  • Unplugged Praise Band sings a contemporary music selection and includes children, youth, and adults. Rehearsal is on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 - 7 pm. The Unplugged Praise Band participates in worship on the second Sunday, September through June. 

  • The Wind & Strings Band is an instrumental group open to intermediate to advanced instrumentalists with musical literacy. Rehearsals are held on the Saturday before the fourth Sunday of each month. The band participates in worship on the fourth Sunday, September through June.

  • Children’s Percussion happens each week during worship, and all children are invited to play! Various percussion instruments, such as shakers, bongo, traditional drums, etc., are available. 

Music FUNdamentals

St. Andrew offers classes during the school year that teach basic music theory for beginners. Offerings include: 

  • Children’s Music introduces basic music while playing various fun instruments.

  • Guitar Class

  • Recorder Class

  • Music 101

All choirs, bands, and classes are typically offered during the program year, September -June.
